In October, as part of the 19. International Conference on Technology Transfer (19th ITTC) awarded the prestigious WIPO National Enterprise Award.
The award recognizes a company for its ingenious use of intellectual property in business processes, cooperation with public research organizations, new products and/or services based on knowledge transfer and intellectual property, and other examples of good practices in relation to intellectual property.
The WIPO National Enterprise Award was awarded for the first time in 2020, and the international expert committee was most convinced by the following companies: Development Center eNeM Novi Materials d.o.o., GEM Motors d.o.o., Elan d.o.o., Krka, d.d., Novo mesto, Hidria d.o.o., Gorenje household appliances, d.o.o. and ReCatalyst. d. o. o.
Applications are open for this year’s selection until 4 September 2026 .

The selected company will be announced on October 7, 2026 in Novo mesto at the 19th ITTC, and the award ceremony will take place two days later in Ljubljana.
