A Slovenian logistics company has strengthened its presence on the Croatian market with the help of the network. Frigotransport Pišek & Hsf d.o.o., a family-owned company specialising in transport and logistics services, is one of the fastest-growing transport companies in Slovenia. The Pišek Group employs 100 people and has a fleet of 60 state-of-the-art vehicles, including gas-powered vehicles, and 70 specialised trailers. The company’s main industries are logistics and transport, with a specialisation in agri-food and pharmaceuticals. The company’s competitive advantage is its refrigerated warehousing facilities in the Netherlands and Germany and a 10,000 m² logistics centre in Lopata near Celje. The company offers conventional transport of temperature-sensitive goods as well as specialised transport. They transport perishable and frozen goods throughout Europe and beyond – from Scandinavia to the Balkans and the countries of the former Soviet Union – using single- and double-aisle refrigerated trucks. The company saw an opportunity with Croatia’s entry into the Schengen area and wanted to strengthen its activities on the Croatian market at this time.
