The Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency has published the public call “Innovation Vouchers 2026”, aimed at encouraging cooperation between micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and recipients of stable funding for scientific research activities.
For easier access to research and development services
The purpose of the public call is to enable companies easier access to research and development services they need for the development of a new product or the improvement of an existing product, process, or service. Co-financing will be provided for innovation advisory and support services, such as testing, analysis, verification, calculations, modeling, simulations, and other research and development services.
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises registered as companies in accordance with the Companies Act, which have their registered office, business unit, or branch in the Republic of Slovenia and meet the conditions of the call, are eligible to apply for the public call.
The total indicative amount of available funds is 1,000,000 euros, of which 300,000 euros in 2026 and 700,000 euros in 2027. Co-financing covers up to 50 percent of eligible costs, where the minimum amount of the requested subsidy for an individual innovation voucher is 10,000 euros and the maximum is 25,000 euros.
The first deadline for submission of applications is June 10, 2026, by 2:00 PM, and the second deadline is September 10, 2026, by 2:00 PM. The public call will remain open until funds are exhausted.
