The Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport has published the public call JR IPCEI HYDROGEN for the co-financing of research and development projects by companies involved in Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) Hy2Tech and Hy2Use. The call supports the development of hydrogen technologies, infrastructure, and value chains. The application deadline is February 6, 2026.

The Ministry has published a public call for Incentives for projects included in IPCEI in the field of hydrogen (JR IPCEI HYDROGEN), which is intended for companies participating in Important Projects of Common European Interest in the field of hydrogen, namely IPCEI Hy2Tech and IPCEI Hy2Use (together: IPCEI HYDROGEN).
The call is open to large, medium-sized, and small enterprises that are included in IPCEI HYDROGEN. The subject of the public call is the co-financing of research and development projects, where research, development, and innovation phases are eligible for funding.
A total of 20 million euros is available for the implementation of the public call. Eligible costs include staff costs, costs for external contractors, costs for investments in intangible assets, depreciation of tangible assets or equipment, and indirect project costs.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 6, 2026, by 23:59.
