An innovative application in the field of aviation’s entry into European markets eAvio has developed a paperless cockpit and paperless business management for the aviation industry. The solutions (aircraft reservations, flight orders, flight logs, licences and ratings, real-time tracking, etc.) have been thoroughly tested in operational use and are approved by EASA and CAA. EEN was approached by the company to help them enter new European and global markets. Working with the company, EEN identified key markets and a roadmap of activities, and as an innovative approach, a short video profile of the company was created to inform potential business partners, based on the cooperation profile. The profile was promoted through the EEN network and its Tourism Sector Group. eAvio also actively undertook trade fair presentations and event participation, which led to a number of new contacts. Networking with potential business partners led to business cooperation agreements with aviation partners from Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands. The partners from these three countries represent an entry point into the markets and also serve as a reference that testifies to the quality of the company’s product. The company’s cooperation with the EEN network continues and plans are underway to enter new markets, including pricing and appearances at aviation fairs and events.
