New opportunities for companies and supporting organizations in the field of generative AI

Within the framework of the European project LLM-BRIDGE, two calls have been published to support the development and dissemination of innovative solutions in the field of generative artificial intelligence and large language models. The first is intended for start-ups and fast-growing companies, and the second for organizations implementing business incubation programs. A call for experts to participate in the evaluation of applications is also published.

Coordinated by the European Consortium for Language Technologies ALT-EDIC and co-funded by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme, the LLM-BRIDGE project aims to strengthen the European generative AI ecosystem, in particular in the field of large language models and language technologies.

The project connects technological development with entrepreneurial skills and encourages the creation and growth of innovative companies. The project, which started in September 2025 and will last for three years, involves ten European partners.

Call for start-ups and high-growth companies

Within the framework of the Acceleration Programme, a call has been published for companies that develop market-ready solutions in the field of generative artificial intelligence and language technologies (TRL 8-9) and are preparing for further growth and obtaining investments.

16 companies will be selected to be included in the 14-week support programme.

The program includes:

  • customized business consulting and optimization of business models,
  • access to the European High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure;
  • support in meeting regulatory requirements; and
  • preparation for the acquisition of investments under Series A financing.

The deadline to apply is November 18, 2026 by 5 p.m.

Call for organisations carrying out business incubation

As part of the Venture Incubation Programme (VIP), a call has been published for the selection of an organisation that will implement the second cycle of the incubation programme for start-ups in the field of generative and multilingual artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies.

One organization will be selected to implement a 12-week program to support start-ups in the early stages of development. The program will be aimed at testing the market potential of solutions, developing business models and preparing companies for further growth and inclusion in the LLM-BRIDGE accelerator program.

The deadline to apply is November 28, 2026 by 5 p.m.

An informative webinar will also be organised for interested applicants on 3 November 2026, between 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.

Call for experts to assess applications

The LLM-BRIDGE project also invites experts to express their interest in participating in the evaluation of applications from start-ups and high-growth companies within the framework of the acceleration and incubation program.

The evaluation is expected to take place between November 2026 and January 2027.
