Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Slovenia presented itself again this year at the International Craft Fair MOS in Celje. At the EEN information point, we were available to visitors on all five days of the fair, from Wednesday to Sunday, and presented to companies and craftsmen the opportunities offered by the network for business development and expansion to foreign markets.
MOS is an important meeting point of Slovenian entrepreneurship, crafts, knowledge and new business opportunities, which is why it also represents an excellent opportunity to bring the services of the Enterprise Europe Network closer to companies directly where they meet, connect and look for new opportunities for development.
According to the organizers, this year’s 58th MOS was better attended than last year. The fair was visited by more than 50,000 visitors, and 650 exhibitors from 22 countries presented themselves.
Expansion to foreign markets and the search for business partners in the foreground
At the EEN information point at the exhibition area of the Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship of Slovenia (OZS), visitors were presented with the network’s support in the internationalization of business, entering foreign markets and finding new business partners.
Special attention was paid to the Enterprise Europe Network business opportunity database, through which Slovenian companies can search for potential business, technological and development partners from abroad.
We have also presented companies with the possibility of preparing and publishing their own profile of business cooperation. In this way, they can present their products, services, technologies or knowledge to potential partners in other countries and define what form of cooperation they are looking for.
EEN directly between entrepreneurs
The five-day presence at the MOS enabled us to have many direct conversations with entrepreneurs and craftsmen and to present the concrete possibilities offered by the Enterprise Europe Network.
Personal contact is important for companies that have an idea or interest in expanding their business abroad, but do not yet know where to start. EEN consultants can help them identify their needs, find suitable international partners and identify opportunities in foreign markets.
The presentation of OZS at this year’s MOS was also focused on connecting, advising and supporting companies in their further development.
