Applications for the seventh Slovenian selection of the prestigious WIPO National Enterprise Award can only be submitted until Friday, September 4, 2026.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) National Award is open to development-oriented SMEs for:
- ingenious use of intellectual property in business processes, promotions and other activities,
- cooperation with public research organizations,
- employment of young doctors of science,
- successful examples of knowledge transfer through new products and/or services.

Since 2020, the international expert committee has been most convinced by the companies Development Center eNeM Novi Materiali d.o.o., GEM Motors d.o.o., Elan d.o.o., Krka, d.d., Novo mesto, Hidria d.o.o., Gorenje household appliances, d.o.o. and ReCatalyst, d.o.o.
You will find out which company will win the WIPO National Enterprise Award this year on October 7, 2026 at the 19th WIPO National Enterprise Award. International Conference on Technology Transfer (19th ITTC) and at the award ceremony two days later.
