EASTERN ECONOMIC DELEGATION TO FRANCE – Marseille
Marseille, 23 – 25 / 27 September 2026
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Centre for International Business and the Slovenian-French Business Council, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Paris, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Marseille, the APEX Marseille International Business Club and the Chamber of Commerce of Marseille and Provence , is organizing a business delegation of Slovenian companies to France – Marseille.
With a population of 2.0 million, the Aix-Marseille-Provence region is France’s largest metropolis by area and the economic centre of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region with a total population of more than 5.1 million. It is one of the key logistical, maritime and industrial centres of Southern Europe and the main business entry point to the Western Mediterranean, which offers numerous opportunities for Slovenian companies as well.
The region’s economy is based on a diverse structure in which logistics and maritime transport, energy, industrial production, aerospace, health and biotechnology, digital technologies, research and tourism play an important role. The area is also home to a number of international companies, development centres and research institutions.
The business delegation is intended for Slovenian companies that want to explore business and investment opportunities in the region, establish new business contacts or strengthen cooperation with existing partners on the French market. We especially invite companies from the fields of industrial supply chains, logistics, energy, advanced technologies, healthcare, sustainable solutions, food industry and other activities where there is interest in cooperation between the Slovenian and French economies.
A business event for the presentation of business opportunities and the organization of B2B meetings is organized by Honorary Consul of Slovenia in Marseille, Mr. Fabrice Greffet , in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Paris and local partners.

Participation: We want to attract companies (including startups) interested in business opportunities in the Marseille and Provence area, especially in the fields of industry, logistics, energy, technology, healthcare and sustainable solutions, to participate in the delegation.
The minimum attendance to conduct a business delegation is 10 companies.
The deadline for applications is August 15, 2026 inclusive.
Travel arrangement you can arrange with the travel agency Universum v svet d.o.o. (g. Nada Balažić, M: 041 440 807; E: nada@universum.si) you specify in the e-application form (below). You can also organize your travel arrangement independently or with another agency, or arrange (customize) it with the selected agency according to your desired individual program in Marseille.
Indicative cost: the estimated cost of attending a delegation for travel and accommodation per person is between €800 and €1,000 (depending on the length of stay).
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s registration fee of EUR 350 per person (excluding VAT) covers the organisational support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s enterprises. | SPS vouchers: vouchers allow SMEs to reimburse up to 60% of the eligible costs of participating in the outbound economic delegation (public transport, accommodation, registration fee), with a maximum reimbursement of EUR 2,000 per company. The voucher is now valid for one person per company. The condition for submitting the application and claiming the refund is the payment of the registration fee to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the basis of which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia issues proof of membership in the delegation (Form 1 and Form 2).
