The purpose of the public tender is to increase the possibilities of presenting their products, services and development solutions to business and the general public by co-financing the eligible costs of companies’ appearances at wood fairs. By supporting appearances at fairs, the Ministry wants to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness, resilience and added value of the Slovenian wood industry.

The subject of the public tender is the co-financing of the presentation of products and services of timber companies at timber fairs in Slovenia, which are of national importance or take place at the national level and where the majority of exhibitors are represented by companies from the wood industry.

The tender is open to companies and sole proprietorships with their registered office in the Republic of Slovenia who have been registered for at least 12 months and have been engaged in the production of wood and wooden products or furniture production.

The funds will be used to co-finance the costs of renting an unfurnished exhibition space, arranging the exhibition space, registration fees and registration in the exhibitors’ catalogue, as well as the costs of the fair and marketing package. The aid intensity is up to 70 percent of the eligible costs, in accordance with the de minimis state aid scheme, with the rest of the funds provided by the beneficiaries.
