The Slovenian Enterprise Fund is once again enabling the submission of applications for the V1 voucher – Voucher for participation in economic delegations

Following the amended public call, eligible costs are those incurred from January 1, 2025 onwards. Costs for SME participation in business delegations abroad are co-financed if organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the Promotion of Investment, Entrepreneurship and Internationalization, the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Slovenian Enterprise Fund, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia, whereby certificates of participation for CCIS and CCSS must be issued exclusively by the parent organizations or foreign chambers of commerce operating in Slovenia that organize delegations for Slovenian companies. The changes also refer to the updated form, which is a mandatory attachment to the payment claim.

Eligible costs include registration fees for participation in a business delegation abroad up to a maximum of 300.00 EUR, airfare costs in basic or economy class, and costs for overnight stays or overnight stays with breakfast. Overnight stays are eligible for the duration of the delegation plus a maximum of two additional nights – arrival the day before the event and departure the day after the official program ends.

Costs may be claimed for one participant per individual delegation, specifically for the company owner, legal representative, or an employee.

Eligible costs may be claimed for a maximum of five days of the official business delegation program, regardless of any longer duration of the delegation. The official program is considered to be the program of activities carried out within the framework of the business delegation in the country for which it was organized. The condition remains that only invoices paid with a company card can be claimed.

The subsidy amount is at least 300.00 EUR and at most 2,000.00 EUR. The voucher is intended to promote internationalization, connection with foreign markets, and strengthen the competitiveness of Slovenian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
