The German organization City of Dortmund Economic Development Agency is accepting applications until February 28, 2026, for its established three-month accelerator program DOACCELERATE. 2026 for entry into the German intralogistics market.
The main theme of this year’s program is intralogistics in connection with artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and digital twins, new business models for robotics, autonomous mobile robots, autonomous guided vehicles, and flexible logistics.
Fast-growing companies with innovative solutions for warehouse management and material flow will gain the following by participating:
- access to a vibrant ecosystem in Dortmund, including leading research, academic, and logistics institutions (Fraunhofer IML, TU Dortmund University, Digital Hub Logistic),
- professional support and mentoring tailored to your company,
- knowledge and connections for expansion into the German market (with additional support from the German organization in case of operations in Dortmund),
- greater visibility and new business opportunities in Germany and beyond.
Up to eight companies operating in the field of intralogistics, with approximately 10-20 employees and established less than 10 years ago, will be selected.
The program will equip companies with the knowledge and tools to enter the German market – from legal frameworks, business culture, sales and marketing strategies, to talent acquisition and further growth.
The program begins with an intensive introduction in Dortmund (mid-April 2026) featuring interactive training, expert advice, and networking with companies and research organizations. The second part of the program takes place online with workshops and mentoring. Participation and accommodation are free; participants (1 person per company) only cover travel expenses.
