Ga\u0161per Slapni\u010dar, PhD, Prof. Dr. Mitja Lu\u0161trek and Amer Mujagi\u0107 from the Jo\u017eef Stefan Institute (Department of Intelligent Systems) presented theoretical and practical insight into the use of artificial intelligence on a selected example. <\/p>\n<p>At the beginning, they will present basic models (eng. <em>foundation models, FMs<\/em>) in connection with sensor data that can be adapted to different tasks. The emphasis of the next part will be on a specially designed service of the Slovenian Artificial Intelligence Factory (SLAIF), intended for sensor data, including a practical demonstration of its adaptation and use on the example of heart rate assessment. <\/p>\n<p>The workshop will be held  <strong>on Thursday, October 8, 2026, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Electronics Institute &#8220;Jo\u017eef Stefan&#8221; at Teslova Street 30 in Ljubljana     <\/strong>as part of the Information Society 2026 (IS2026) multiconference.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the limited number of vacancies, it is necessary to register for participation via <a href=\"https:\/\/indico.ijs.si\/event\/3997\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the https:\/\/indico.ijs.si\/event\/3997<\/a> website, where additional details about the workshop are available.<\/p>\n<p>You are kindly invited to attend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The use of artificial intelligence in the business environment can contribute to finding answers to many questions and challenges.
