The financial instrument is implemented with the funds of the Holding Fund, managed by SID Bank, with the support of the European Union under the European Cohesion Policy 2021-2027. <\/p><p>Micro, small, medium-sized and also larger companies with up to 3000 employees operating in the field of wood processing and furniture production will be eligible for funding. Companies will be able to obtain loans ranging from \u20ac100,000 to \u20ac2.5 million, with the loan covering up to 75% of eligible project costs. <\/p><p>The eligible costs must be at least \u20ac135,000 and must be incurred in the period from the submission of the application until 31 December 2027. Loans are granted with a maturity of up to 15 years and the possibility of a moratorium on repayment of the principal for up to 24 months, with the possibility of extension of up to 36 months.  <\/p><p>Investments in new machines, equipment and software solutions for technological development, increasing efficiency and more efficient use of resources and energy will be supported. Priority will be given to projects with the introduction of digitalization, advanced technologies and higher added value. <\/p><p>The purpose of the call is to strengthen the competitiveness of the Slovenian wood processing industry, to encourage more efficient use of wood as a strategic raw material and to contribute to the transition to a low-carbon and circular economy.<\/p><p>Applications can be submitted electronically via the SPS ePortal.
