The Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, Trade Policy Sector, is organizing the Market Access Day<\/strong> conference on November 27, 2025, at the Center Rog in Ljubljana, in cooperation with the European Commission, aimed at companies exporting to markets outside the EU.

The event will highlight how trade policy in the new geopolitical reality can help companies access markets outside the European Union.

The event program includes a high-level discussion with distinguished guests on current trade policy challenges in times of geopolitical change.

Possibilities for European Commission support in promoting exports and overcoming trade barriers in non-EU markets will be presented, including a practical demonstration of the use of the free online platform Access2Markets, where companies can obtain information on export conditions to non-EU markets, and the Single Entry Point, through which companies can report trade barriers in markets outside the EU. The benefits of EU free trade agreements that go beyond lower customs duties will also be presented, as well as success stories of companies already benefiting from these agreements. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The event is free of charge and will be held in the Slovenian language, with simultaneous interpretation into English and from English into Slovenian.

The official part will be followed by networking and lunch for all registered participants.

The number of places is limited, so companies are invited to register early. Applications are possible until all places are filled or no later than November 20, 2025.
