In addition to grants, loans, and guarantees, companies also have access to professional support, tools, and consulting, which facilitate the implementation of sustainable solutions in practice.<\/p><p>Below is a brief presentation of key institutions and forms of support.<\/p><h4><br><strong>Slovenian Circular Economy Center (SCKG)<\/strong><\/h4><p>The Slovenian Circular Economy Center (SCKG<strong>)<\/strong> represents the <strong>central national support environment<\/strong> for promoting the transition to a circular economy and implementing sustainable and circular practices, especially in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p><p>SCKG connects the economy, research institutions, the public sector, and civil society, and provides support in the development of sustainable business models, innovation, knowledge transfer, and the formation of circular economy policies.<\/p><p><strong>The core activities of SCKG are:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>virtualna vstopna to\u010dka in fizi\u010dne vstopne to\u010dke po Sloveniji<\/strong>, ki zagotavljajo informacije, izobra\u017eevanje in svetovanje podjetjem ter drugim ciljnim skupinam,<\/li><li><strong>povezovanje dele\u017enikov<\/strong> prek industrijske simbioze, mre\u017eenja in razvoja kro\u017enih vrednostnih verig,<\/li><li>monitoring and analyzing <strong>circular economy trends<\/strong> and supporting innovation,<\/li><li>carrying out <strong>educational and awareness-raising activities<\/strong> for various social groups with the aim of strengthening circular values,<\/li><li>supporting <strong>research and development<\/strong> of new technologies and business models.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Digital support and web platform<\/strong><\/p><p>On the web platform <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sckg.si\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.sckg.si<\/strong><\/a>, the following are available to companies and other target groups:<\/p><ul><li>digital tools for implementing circular business models,<\/li><li>an extensive knowledge base (library, SCKG Academy, toolbox) with manuals, analyses, best practices, and professional content,<\/li><li>educational content for acquiring new knowledge and competencies,<\/li><li>information on calls for proposals, legislation, and support mechanisms,<\/li><li>a virtual assistant for circular transition.<\/li><\/ul><p>SCKG also offers companies <strong>general consulting<\/strong> for the first steps in the circular transition and <strong>specialized consulting<\/strong> for more demanding issues such as circular design, materials, waste management, and sustainable business models.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><table><p><strong>Free support for companies: physical SCKG entry points<\/strong><\/p><p>Within the Slovenian Circular Economy Center (SCKG), a network of <strong>physical entry points across Slovenia<\/strong> operates, which, together with the virtual entry point <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sckg.si\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.sckg.si<\/a>, forms a comprehensive support environment for the transition to a circular economy.<\/p><p>At these entry points, companies and other stakeholders are provided with <strong>free expert information, guidance, and connections to appropriate solutions<\/strong> in the field of green and circular transition.<\/p><p>Consulting and support include:<\/p><ul><li>introducing circular and sustainable business models,<\/li><li>using resources, materials, and energy more efficiently,<\/li><li>navigating legislation, tenders, and support mechanisms,<\/li><li>connecting with other companies, experts, and solution providers.<\/li><\/ul><p>The support is <strong>free of charge<\/strong> and accessible throughout Slovenia.<\/p><p>Locations and contacts of physical SCKG entry points are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sckg.si\/sl\/o-sckg\/vstopne-tocke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.sckg.si\/sl\/o-sckg\/vstopne-tocke\/<\/a><\/p><\/table><p>&nbsp;<\/p><h4><strong>SID Bank<\/strong><\/h4><p>SID Bank is a Slovenian development and export bank that <strong>supports the competitiveness and long-term development of the Slovenian economy through various financial instruments<\/strong>. SID Bank supports the sustainable and green transition of companies primarily through favorable loans and development financial instruments. Green projects can be financed directly or indirectly through commercial banks, and for larger projects, also through the use of green bonds.<\/p><p>SID Bank enables companies to finance:<\/p><ul><li>energy efficiency projects,<\/li><li>renewable energy sources,<\/li><li>environmentally friendly technologies and processes,<\/li><li>clean transport,<\/li><li>climate change adaptation.<\/li><\/ul><ol><li><strong>Fund of Funds<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>The Fund of Funds is a cohesion policy fund managed by SID bank. Companies can finance green projects through the following programs:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sid.si\/mala-srednja-podjetja\/posojila-za-financiranje-projektov-celovite-energetske-prenove-javnih-stavb-iz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Loans for financing comprehensive energy renovation projects for public buildings from the Fund of Funds (EE)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sid.si\/mala-srednja-podjetja\/posojila-za-financiranje-projektov-urbanega-razvoja-za-podjetja-ur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Loans for financing urban development projects for companies (UR)<\/a><\/li><\/ul><ol><li><strong>Indirect financing through commercial banks<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Companies can receive favorable financing from SID bank sources through commercial banks. Namenjena je podjetjem, ki&nbsp;zbirajo denarna sredstva za nove ali obstoje\u010de ekolo\u0161ke trajnostne projekte.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p><p>The advantages of a green bond are:<\/p><ul><li>direct access to the capital market,<\/li><li>lower financing costs,<\/li><li>innovative way of financing green projects,<\/li><li>transparent financing, which assures investors that financial resources will be used exclusively for green projects.<\/li><\/ul><p>With a green bond, companies can finance:<\/p><ul><li>renewable energy,<\/li><li>energy efficiency,<\/li><li>pollution prevention and control,<\/li><li>sustainable management of living natural resources,<\/li><li>ensuring water and territorial biodiversity,<\/li><li>clean transport,<\/li><li>sustainable management of water resources,<\/li><li>climate change adaptation,<\/li><li>ecologically efficient products, technologies, and processes.<\/li><\/ul><p>More information at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sid.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.sid.si\/<\/a><\/p><h4><br><strong>Slovene Enterprise Fund (SPS)<\/strong><\/h4><p>The Slovene Enterprise Fund is the central institution for financing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The Eco Fund is a key source of funding for companies investing in environmental and energy projects. Incentives are available in the form of favorable loans and grants.<\/p><p>Companies can obtain funding for:<\/p><ul><li>reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,<\/li><li>improving the energy efficiency of buildings (thermal insulation, window replacement, heating optimization),<\/li><li>modernization of shared heating systems (heat pumps, biomass, solar systems),<\/li><li>efficient use of energy and renewable energy sources in buildings and production processes,<\/li><li>energy audits and the implementation of energy management systems,<\/li><li>purchase of environmentally friendly vehicles and
