CoGreen d.o.o.<\/strong>, slovensko gradbeno in in\u017eenirsko podjetje s sede\u017eem v Ljubljani, je specializirano za integrirane re\u0161itve gradnje s konopljo, ki jih dopolnjuje z mo\u010dnim inovativnim pristopom. Njihov glavni poudarek je na povezovanju naravnih gradbenih materialov in zelenih tehnologij. Podjetje se je podalo na pot digitalne transformacije v okviru pobude EDIH DIGI-SI<\/strong>, ki jo koordinira Univerza v Mariboru. The company joined the initiative to explore advanced digital tools that can support their innovative use of hemp concrete (hempcrete)<\/strong> \u2013 a sustainable material known for its excellent technical and environmental properties.<\/p>

To accelerate the digitalization of work processes and strengthen its position as a pioneer in sustainable construction, CoGreen d.o.o. sought professional support from the University of Maribor in the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling) implementation, process optimization, and advanced digital integration solutions. Through consulting sessions with a researcher from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture of the University of Maribor, they received valuable recommendations and practical strategies for integrating 3D, 4D, and 5D BIM models into the company’s workflows. These models enable real-time project visualization, scheduling, and cost monitoring, ensuring more efficient planning, reduced risks, and better communication among stakeholders.<\/p>

Key recommendations included the gradual implementation of BIM, starting with pilot projects and targeted employee training. This approach helps mitigate common challenges such as high initial costs, resistance to change, and the need for additional employee training. By following these recommendations, CoGreen d.o.o. is well-prepared for a successful transition to BIM, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced competitiveness in the digitalized construction sector. Their proactive approach to digital transformation not only ensures compliance with emerging industry standards but also supports long-term sustainability and innovation in the field of green construction.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Based on consultations, CoGreen d.o.o. received several strategic recommendations to support the effective implementation of BIM, process optimization, and a broader digital transformation in the management of sustainable construction projects. The recommendations focused on ensuring regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, and the use of advanced digital tools for environmentally responsible project execution.<\/p>

To further improve decision-making and enable real-time data insights, the company was recommended to explore IoT project monitoring systems<\/strong>, AI-based analytics<\/strong> and extended reality (XR) tools<\/strong> that support accurate data interpretation and responsive field management. It was also recommended that CoGreen d.o.o. joins the SRIP (Strategic Research and Innovation Partnerships)<\/strong> initiatives to connect with innovation ecosystems, research institutions, and strategic partners in the field of green and digital construction. Key challenges identified were the lack of digitally skilled professionals, resistance to organizational change, and the financial requirements of large-scale implementation, which are essential to address for the successful introduction of BIM and related digital technologies.<\/p>

By implementing these recommendations, CoGreen d.o.o. will successfully integrate BIM into its sustainable construction practices with modular innovations for growth, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen its competitive position in the green and digital construction market, while remaining aligned with both legislative and environmental standards.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
