{"id":3208,"date":"2025-07-16T09:56:02","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T07:56:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/een.si\/call-for-views-on-the-new-legal-form-of-company-in-the-european-unions-internal-market\/"},"modified":"2025-07-23T09:49:36","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T07:49:36","slug":"call-for-views-on-the-new-legal-form-of-company-in-the-european-unions-internal-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/een.si\/en\/call-for-views-on-the-new-legal-form-of-company-in-the-european-unions-internal-market\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for views on the new legal form of company in the European Union&#8217;s internal market"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"3208\" class=\"elementor elementor-3208 elementor-2527\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f593f6f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2f593f6f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-79b58ce0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"79b58ce0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The European Commission has launched a consultation on an initiative for a new legal and organisational form of business in the European Union (EU) internal market, which would make it faster, simpler and fully digital to set up and run a business across the EU.<\/p>\n<p>The new legal and organisational form of a company in the EU internal market would be based on:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Existing and exclusively online procedures for companies (incorporation, registration),<\/li>\n<li>the application of the &#8220;one time only&#8221; principle in the Business Register Interconnection System (BRIS); and<\/li>\n<li>digital tools such as the European Unique Identifier (EUID) and the EU Company Certificate, an EU corporate identity card compatible with the European Digital Identity Framework, and the future EU corporate wallet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div> <\/div>\n<p>The aim is to promote growth and competitiveness in the EU&#8217;s internal market by simplifying the process of setting up and operating companies, and by reducing barriers to cross-border investment by creating a new corporate form for innovative, start-up and fast-growing companies. <\/p>\n<p>The opinions gathered will help define a new legal framework for business, as part of a comprehensive set of measures to boost the competitiveness of the European economy.
