We will present key innovations\, obligations for companies and opportunities that the regulation brings for the transition to a circular economy.  \nThe new EU Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR)\, which applies from 12 August 2026\, gradually introduces new requirements for manufacturers\, importers\, distributors and other companies that place packaging or packaged products on the European Union market.  \nWhile not all obligations are introduced at the same time\, companies need to know the timeline of change today and understand how the new requirements will affect their business. SUMMARY:DigiGov Expo 2026 – an opportunity to present Slovenian companies in London
DESCRIPTION:Slovenian companies that develop digital and technological solutions for the public sector have the opportunity to present themselves free of charge at the joint stand of the European Union at the DigiGov Expo 2026 event in London. \nDigiGov Expo is one of the UK’s leading events in the field of digitalisation of the public sector. The event brings together representatives of the UK’s state and local government\, public institutions\, health and other public sector organisations with a range of private providers of digital and technology solutions.  \nAn opportunity for Slovenian companies\nAt the event\, the EU delegation in London will allow companies from EU Member States to present themselves at a joint EU stand. \nDue to limited space\, a rotational presence of companies will be organized\, with about 2-3 companies present at the stand at each time slot. DESCRIPTION:EASTERN ECONOMIC DELEGATION TO FRANCE – Marseille \nMarseille\, 23 – 25 / 27 September 2026   \nThe Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Centre for International Business and the Slovenian-French Business Council\, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Paris\, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Marseille\, the APEX Marseille International Business Club and the Chamber of Commerce of Marseille and Provence \, is organizing a business delegation of Slovenian companies to France – Marseille. \nWith a population of 2.0 million\, the Aix-Marseille-Provence region is France’s largest metropolis by area and the economic centre of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region with a total population of more than 5.1 million. It is one of the key logistical\, maritime and industrial centres of Southern Europe and the main business entry point to the Western Mediterranean\, which offers numerous opportunities for Slovenian companies as well.  \nThe region’s economy is based on a diverse structure in which logistics and maritime transport\, energy\, industrial production\, aerospace\, health and biotechnology\, digital technologies\, research and  tourism play an important role. The condition for submitting the application and claiming the refund is the payment of the registration fee to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry\, on the basis of which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia issues proof of membership in the delegation (Form 1 and Form 2).
